Mix
Choose a preset, then adjust the layers. Everything saves as you go.
Presets
Choosing one replaces the current mix.
Sounds
Turn a sound on, then set how much of it you want. Start with three or four; adding everything makes it muddy.

Sleep timer
Audio fades away over the last minute, then pauses. The timer is not re-armed on your next visit.
No sleep timer set.
About
Everything works with a keyboard. The clock is quiet unless you ask for the time.

Shortcuts are ignored while you are typing in a field or focused on a button, so they never steal a normal key press.
Screen readers
Each sound is a checkbox with its own volume slider. Sliders speak a percentage, not a raw number. The time is available from the “Announce the time” button; the ticking face itself is hidden from the accessibility tree so it cannot chatter.
If sound does not start
Browsers only allow audio after a press. Choose Play, and give the first sound a moment to download. If a recording fails, the status line says which one and the rest of the mix keeps playing.
Credits
Every recording is a real place, released under Creative Commons 0. The ocean, rain, river, forest, wind, birds and clock recordings come from Freesound. Each one was checked on its own page for a CC0 licence, then trimmed, looped and loudness-matched. No attribution is required, but the recorders are named on the credits page.
